'INSUHTBP' Comic Status UpdateHello everyone! I just wanted to update everyone who cares about the comic. I know it's been awhile since the last update, but just know that I'm still working on it. My semester is over, now there is so much time for activities! Web Tools: Clipping Magic!

The above image says it all! The geniuses at ClippingMagic.com created this wonderful tool where users can upload their own images and key out the backgrounds.
There is a very simple concept behind it, simply color the general area you want to keep green, then the areas you want to remove red. A yellow line will then outline your selection, giving you the ability to further refine your selection if you arent happy.

Personally, I find the tool to be quite acceptable. It for the most part removes the correct background for any image I upload. With a little fine tuning it can be perfect in seconds. Now keep in mind, this tool is only in alpha, but it is still a wonderful web-based tool that works as advertised!
Now true this is no replacement for Adobe's Photoshop, but for those of you dont own Photoshop this is a wonderful alternative. There are s

To change a username

After captializing it a few months ago, I'm now able to change my username again.

But do I really want to?

Short answer: Nah.

Long Answer: I still rather like 'EleganceLiberty', even 8 years after I started this account. Even if it had its origins in a fandom vein (from a fandom I am no longer a part of, but still want a new game, at least), it's managed to hold up well past that.

Maybe in a few months time I might change my mind, but since I'm -for all intents and purposes- pursuing art as a hobby and my DA is pretty much another dumping ground for my silly fan art and lol fan characters, eh, I don't see a need to.

... Although I won't lie: I am sorely tempted to use 'based-xudarian' or 'based-ratdad' for something at some point, lmao.

I like elegance liberty, because its something that's still meaningful to you. The problem with fandoms and changing usernames is that DA is banking on a certain amount that every new fandom you grow into or leave, you'll want to have your name reflect it. I still think of all of your GL & TMNT stuff when i see eleganceliberty.

Funny thing is, 'Elegance Liberty' was/is the name of a car from the F-Zero video game series (from the crappy anime spin-off, no less. Lucy Liberty was the only anime-only character I liked from that mess). I guess it just had a nice enough ring for me to keep using it over the years. I guess with this one (barring 'Meta Ray Mek' anyways, but that was from an affectionate nickname given to me elsewhere), that was the last time I'd change net names to reflect interests.

But yeah, that and 'Meta Ray Mek' (another fandom-based nickname that's carried over through various fandoms; strangely, hardly anyone ever picks up on the inspiration unless I tell them the story) are the two usernames I often use. Though to be honest, if it wasn't going to cause a hassle -and confusion-, I'd change my tumblr URL/username to 'eleganceliberty' as well. Eh, c'est la vie!

(Side note: I think if I ever did decide to go full-throttle with the original comics/stories of mine, I'd probably change it, but that wouldn't be for a long, long time from now, if ever, hehe)

well, I know that whatever you decide to do or not do with your name, as long as we can still get access to your stories and art, that's what matters! In DA's case, we're lucky that the old name becomes a forwarding address for the new name. I know I'm awful at remembering when people have 4000 different pen names and emails and accounts they go by, so at least speaking for myself I like it when my shitty memory only has to serve 1~2 monikers per person.

Also, i wants coloooooooor on the Tariro/Husband picture. I needs it.
