I'm now thoroughly convinced that Ziro the Hutt is Lucas' way of trolling the uptight Star Wars fanbase. I really do. I mean come on, a big, flamboyant purple Hutt who sounds like Truman Capote. Ziro is quite possibly the most epic character in the Star Wars canon and for that, I love him in a lulzy kind of way.

Well, no. He's actually voiced by Corey Burton (who also voices Count Dooku and Cad Bane in the series... among many other cartoon characters in general), but George Lucas specifically asked Burton to mimic Truman Capote for Ziro.

In some twisted sort of way, it works.

Hmm. Never thought to look at it that way, though I am amused at Ziro's sheer outrageous design. Then again, I'm a satirist, and find any form of uptightness involving entertainment media to be easily mocked.XD

Anyhoo, nice cartoony pic of Ziro. I think the background is colourfully suitable for his character. XD
